John R. Harris, Jr., 69 of Jasonville passed away at Signature Health on January 24, 2018.  He was born August 2, 1948 to John Harris and Mary Buckles Harris.   John loved playing cards, golf, bowling and horseshoes.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  John is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cheryl Wood Harris, sons; Travis Harris (Morgan), Nick Harris, Jay Harris; daughters  Dakota Harris, and Fawn Harris; grandchildren Masyn Marie Harris, Malika, and Olivia.  Cremation was chosen.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 1:00 p.m. at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville.
