John Harold Watson, 76, of Terre Haute passed away March 30, 2019 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.  He was born September 19, 1942 in Sullivan, Indiana to Henry and Hazel Watson.  John was a member of Northside Wesleyan Church, enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting, and watching the demolition derby with his friend Bud.  He loved spending time with his family and will be missed beyond measure.

John is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Nancy Thompson, and brothers Henry Watson and James Watson.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret; daughter Robin Altvevater (Tony), son John Watson, Jr. (Regina), and daughter Sammie Peters (George), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be Saturday April 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm in Northside Wesleyan Church.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Heart to Heart Hospice in honor of John.  They are very grateful for the care and compassion he received from the staff.  Samaritan Funeral Homes assisted with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
