Joyce Ann Isle, 80, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at her home surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on December 26, 1944, in Terre Haute to Arthur W. Burke, Sr. and Lucille Treva Thompson Burke.  Joyce was an amazing wife and mother.  Her devotion and care to her family never wavered. She was a very caring and loving person. Joyce had a huge heart and would help anyone that she could.

She worked at Columbia House for many years. Joyce was a great dancer.  Her husband Don even took classes at Arthur Murrey dance studio so they could dance together.  She enjoyed fishing and watching old westerns, especially Gunsmoke.  Most of all being with her family and planning holiday get togethers was greatest joy.

Joyce is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Donald Isle, her children Jean Ann Hyde (Johnnie), Jeffery R. Isle, and Lisa McKean; eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, and her brother Morris Burke (Carolyn).  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Ruth Hallett, Linda McVey, and Arthur W. Burke, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Samaritan Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Service will begin at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
