Judith L. Smith,69, of Clinton passed away Tuesday June 9, 2026 in Union Hospital. She was born July 2, 1956 in Greencastle, Indiana to Phillip Tarcus and Mary Fern (Petrey) Hayes. Judith is survived by her husband, Donald R. Smith; sons, Thaddeus Smith (Kirsten Anderson) and Ryan Smith (Erica Lackey); step-daughter (Judith always hated that term and considered her a daughter), Stacey Smith Zmunda; sister, Krista Smith; brother, Gerald Hayes; grandchildren, Brittani Franquiz, Derrick Follis, Kimberly Zmunda, Eric Follis, Devin Smith, Zion Smith, and Sebastian Wilson; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Terry Hayes. Judith was an LPN and a very caring and loving person who cared deeply for her family.
