Judy Kay "Meeks" Walker passed away peacefully on August10, 2021. Judy was born on October 4, 1946. Judy was a devoted homemaker who spent her life caring for her husband of 50 years Jed, children Johnny, Jenny, and Julie, and grandchildren Aspen, Brandon, and Alexis. She took great pride in their accomplishments and spent much of her time alongside her husband at sporting events, school functions, and family get togethers. She also babysat for the "Bond kids" who also became her family along with their mother Sharon. Judy loved her garden and spent many years cultivating her beautiful flowers. She had many bird feeders and loved to watch her hummingbirds from her porch. She spent many hours taking rides through the country with Jed. She was a member of Indian Prairie Baptist Church along with her family. She enjoyed the weekly dinners with her friends at the Carlisle Community Center. She is survived by her children, Johnny (Rob) Walker of Indianapolis, Jennifer (Zach) Bunn of Dekalb, IL, and Julie (Chad) Morgan of Oaktown; three grandchildren, Aspen Morgan, Brandon Short, and Alexis Bunn, as well as Aspen's fiancée Matthew West and his son Blake; siblings, Elizabeth "Tib" Moody, Bob (Sue) Meeks, Cecil (Kim) Meeks, and in laws Gloria Meeks, Angela Meeks, and Jerry Fallin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jerry "Jed" Walker; parents Harold "Shorty" and Nellie Meeks; siblings Roy Meeks, Harold "Jake" Meeks, Betty Fallin, and brother in law Harold "Junior" Moody. Judy wished to be cremated and funeral services will be announced at a later date.
