June M. Jeffers, 88, of Indianapolis and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Friday August 12, 2016 at Brookview Golden Living in Indianapolis. She retired after 25 years with Valley Federal Bank. June was born June 14, 1928 in Clay County, IN to Macey Pierson Bratt and Edith Valley (Romas) Bratt. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Boss (Richard) of Indianapolis; sisters, Doris McAllister and Joy Power; a brother, Darrell Bratt (Nancy); three granddaughters, six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Lee Jeffers who died August 28, 1993, and a brother, Dale Bratt. June was a long-time member of Seelyville United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday August 16, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. with funeral services at 1:30 pm on Wednesday August 17, 2016 in the funeral home with Pastor Ann Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
