Justin William Drake, 41, of Farmersburg passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.  He was born October 5, 1982, in Terre Haute to Gerald A. Drake and Kay F. Flynn Drake.  Justin enjoyed working on cars and trucks.  He was a truck driver and loved driving the semi.  The simple things in life brought him the most joy, country cruising, sitting on the porch with his sister Nicki and talking until they fell asleep, and being with his family.  He was an easy-going guy with a calm demeanor.  Justin was notorious for calling up family and friends always saying "I need to pick your brain".  His laughter and smile will be missed by so many.

Justin is survived by his mother Kay Drake,  beloved wife, Tia Drake who he married March 23, 2008; his sons Coltin William Drake, Dillion Adran Drake, and several bonus kids, brother Adrian Drake, sister Nicki Stone and her children Kenna Drake, T.J., Austin, and Dalton (they thought of Justin not only as an uncle but like a Dad too), as well as several other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald A. Drake, and brother Kenny Drake.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Samaritan Funeral Home located at 2425 Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute.  Pastor Tracy Hamilton will officiate.  In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the funeral home or their website to assist the family with funeral expenses.
