Karen Marie Bass Gordon, 68, passed away on January 3, 2022. She was born to George Bass and Elizabeth Cunningham on August 19, 1953.  Karen was preceded in death by both parents as well as her brother Mark Bass. She is survived by her husband Billy Gordon; daughter Tamara Thomas; siblings Tanya Shelton, Anthony Bass, Rachel Bass, Victor Bass, Zachary Collier, Robert Carter (Connie), Lewis Cunningham, Kimberly Cunningham, Craig Cunningham, Carolyn "Nina" Hudson, James Gordon, Vasetina Gordon, Square Gordon, Velma Gordon, Frances Gordon, Virginia Gordon, Dennis Gordon, Calvin Gordon, Gwen Gordon, Dolores Gordon, and Anthony Gordon; grandchildren Tavon Thomas and Terron Thomas as well as many nieces and nephews.  Karen was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. She loved to cook and watch her TV shows, especially HGTV.  More than anything Karen loved her family; she was a supportive mother, wife, and friend.  She was a provider and protector to those she loved and always had a smile on her face. Private services will be held for Karen.
