Karen Sue Woods, 80, of Sullivan passed away Saturday May 2, 2026 in Gibson Family Hospice Center. She was born December 24, 1945 in Vincennes, Indiana to Clinton J. and Mary (Kellams) Woods. She retired from the Sullivan Daily Times newspaper where she worked as a proofreader and graphic artist. Karen is survived by her daughter, Molly Woods and nieces, Mary Ann Niehaus and Lori Hooper. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kay Monroe and brothers, John Woods and infant brothers, Timothy Woods and William Woods. Karen was a 1963 graduate of Sullivan High School, she loved local history and doing genealogy research. Cremation has been entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.
