Katherine Sue Wood Chaney

Died October 12th, 2021. She was 64 years old. Born on December 14th, 1956, to Charles Myron Wood and Patricia Kent. Proceeded in death by father Charles Myron Wood and mother Patricia Kent, Vernice Kent brother, Cletus Holdren and loving son Danny Chaney. Kathy worked all her life caring for others. Kathy was a member of Decker Chapel in Vincennes, Indiana. Surviving are her loving partner and friend Dave McCreavy and family of Vincennes, Indiana. Her beloved granddaughter Madison Chaney and family who was the light of her life. Father Victor Kent of Marion, Indiana, sister Shawne and Daryl Drake of Fairbanks. Brother Charles and Laura Wood of Greencastle. Sister Terresa and John Lovellette of Sullivan. Sister-in-law Martha Holdren of Mooresville. Her nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly and all her extended family and friends. Kathy chose cremation and a celebration of life will be held in the Spring at her request.
