Keegan Tyler Heck, 32, of Terre Haute passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026. He was born on August 22, 1993, in Terre Haute to Christopher Carney and Heather Heck Shelton. Keegan was a free spirit and enjoyed the simple things in life. He had a true passion for music and loved playing Metallica on the guitar. Keegan also enjoyed skateboarding and playing Dragon Ball Z and Pokémon. Being with his daughter and his family brought him the most joy. He will be sadly missed by so many.

Keegan is survived by his father, Christopher Carney (Joanie), grandmother Becky Fisher, grandfather Don Heck, daughter Khloe Heck, siblings Nathan Shelton (Kalynn), Jassmine Lanning, Brooklyn Shelton, and Shanelynn Carney, nephew Bryten Shelton and niece Braelee Shelton, uncles Derick Heck (Ashley), Donnie Heck, Phillip Heck, Willis Heck, and Lucas Heck, as well as several cousins, aunts, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Heather Shelton (Brad), infant son Axel, and Grandfather Tony Fisher. They were all there to welcome him into the gates of Heaven.
