Keith Philip Nowland 77, of Terre Haute, IN passed away on July 19, 2024.
He was born on May 29, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan to George and Mildred Nowland as the first of two children.
Keith is survived by Mary, his wife of 34 years. His daughter Jennifer Elm and son Joe Grimes, both of Michigan and many grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Shannon and Phil Parker of Sweetwater, TN. He is also survived by stepchildren Sean McDaniel and wife Jennifer of Terre Haute, IN and Betty Jo McCutcheon and husband Michael of Browning, MT. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mildred Mollner and parents George and Mildred Nowland.
He attended high school in Southgate, Michigan. After high school, Keith traveled all over the United States as a truck driver.
Keith had many hobbies that included model building and collecting baseball, football, and basketball cards. His collection grew over the years to more than 2,500 cards. He also collected hats of all kinds, but his favorites were baseball caps and cowboy hats.
He had a strong faith in Christ and was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Terre Haute. In his last few years, Keith loved to watch the programs of good Bible teachers, like David Jeremiah and others.
He was a much beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
