Kevin Johnson, 50, passed away at his home on February 27, 2021. He was born November 24, 1970 to John and Mary Johnson in Alpena, MI. Kevin is survived by his parents, daughter Samantha Johnson of Cookeville, TN, brothers John Johnson of Terre Haute and Kenneth Johnson of Loveland, CO, sister Michelle Johnson of San Antonio, TX, Two nieces, and Four nephews.

Kevin was owner/operator of two pawn shops in Illinois, The Pawn Stop, in Danville and in Champaign, until retiring in 2017, more than 3½ years into his battle with cancer. He was an avid golfer.  When he was not at work, you would probably find him at one of the area golf courses.  He was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church, in Danville, IL. Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. (CST) Tuesday, March 9, at Ridgeview Baptist Church, 3838 N Vermilion St, Danville, Illinois, and Pastor Mark Keyser officiating.
