Larry Joseph "Little Toot" Branson, Sr., went to be with the lord on April 20, 2020 after a short battle with cancer.  He was the fifth child of seven, born to Edgar L. and Iva L. Branson on October 7, 1944.  He was a graduate of Van Buren High School, class of 1963.  He worked for Malleable Company Castings for 12 years.  Larry also worked for various farmers and worked the family farm until he retired in 2006.  He had three sons, Larry Branson Jr., William Branson, and Andrew Branson (Rustina.) He had eight grandchildren, Brittany and Courtney Branson, Heaven Clawson, Blaze Branson (Cordia), Hailio and Sage Branson, Catalina Webster, Sydney Ramage; three step-grandchildren, Breyuana, McKenzy and Mya, as well as four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; Sister Marjorie Hastings; Brother Robert Branson. Larry had several nieces and nephews.  There will be a private visitation for family and close friends in honor of Larry at Samaritan Funeral home on Friday, April 24 from 1:00-4:00 PM.
