Laurie Anne Schatz went home to meet her maker surrounded by those she held the closest in the comfort of her own home on August 4, 2026 celebrating her birthday in heaven.

Laurie will be remembered for the love she showed to any and all that came around. She cherished her grandkids often spending weekends with her sidekick Kaesyn.

She had a love for Coca-Cola shown by her knick knacks throughout her home. She loved to watch cooking shows and to read, sassing anyone who came to interrupt. Camping trips to fish, make campfire food and plenty of memories with her family were a favorite past time.

Laurie leaves behind her beloved husband of nearly 30 years LeRoy, and three children, David, Mason (Braxton), Morgan (Mara Bailey). Her sister Jamie and brother Chad.

Her grandkids, Kaesyn, Victoria, Bo and their Mom, Brittney Troxel, and many others including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.

Laurie was preceded in death by her Mother Patricia, and father Ronald, her brother Jeff, her grandparents and other loved family members.

Laurie wished for no services, however there will be a celebration of life at a later time held at Fowler Park enjoying one of her favorite meals.
