Lena J. “Popper” Long, 70, of Clinton passed away Saturday May 9, 2026 in Union Hospital. She was born February 12, 1956 in Terre Haute to Joseph Markley and Lena Marie (Walker) Tighe. Lena is survived by her daughters, Jolene Green (Paul) and Carrie Jones (Jay); grandchildren, Tobias Green and Josie Jones; sisters, Rosie Stevens, Carole Johnson, Nina Tighe, and Cathy Tighe-Scott; brothers, Sonny Tighe and Jerry Stevens and numerous nieces and nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dot Tighe, Dora McGranahan, and Dolly Criss and brothers, Joseph Tighe, Thomas Tighe, Gene Tighe, Milo Tighe, and Orial Stevens. Lena was a member of Cross Tabernacle where she loved serving in the nursery for many years. She was an avid Bingo player and loved going to music festivals. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. Visitation will be Monday May 18, 2026 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating.
