Linda Lou (Pitts) Austin, 75, of West Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026. She was born to James Edward Pitts and Dorothy Mae (Gardner) Pitts on May 26, 1951 in West Terre Haute.

Linda loved taking care of others and demonstrated this in her work as a CNA and a Home Health Aide. She also showed this by being a wonderful homemaker to her family. Linda loved scratch off tickets, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She enjoyed watching scary movies and loved her dog, Lucy. Most of all, Linda loved her family.

Linda is preceded in death by her son, Bill; siblings, Wilma, Carolyn, and Deb.

Linda is survived by her children, Roxanna, Christina, Richard, Charles, and Elizabeth; siblings, Jim, Mike, and Tana.

Visitation for Linda will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Samaritan Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the Memorial Service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com
