Linda Fay (Taylor) Auterson, 80, of Terre Haute, IN passed away surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 in her home.  She was born to Lester Taylor and Marie (Simpson) Taylor on January 20, 1945 in Franklin, IN.  Linda worked as a Transcriber for The AP&S Clinic and loved her career.  In her free time, she enjoyed photography traveling, and gardening.  Linda also enjoyed crafting – especially sewing.  She was an avid tennis and ice-skating enthusiast and enjoyed watching the sports on television.

Linda is preceded in death by both of her parents; brothers Morris Taylor and Carl Taylor; sister Arlene Mattox.

Linda is survived by her sons Robert Auterson (Tina) and Mark Auterson (Kim); daughters Belinda Auterson, Chris Kester (Mark), Melissa Steward (Brian); brothers Arlis Taylor (Patty), Norman Taylor (Pearl), Evan Taylor (Mary), Steve Taylor (Sheree), Jerry Taylor (Vickey); sister Shirley Ward; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held for Linda on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Samaritan Funeral Home in Terre Haute, IN.  Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Norman Taylor with Visitation occurring from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. beforehand.  Online condolences may be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com
