Lisa Lee Ann (Johnson) Sloniker, 52, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:34 a.m. at Union Hospital. Lisa was born July 6, 1963 in Terre Haute to Norman Lee Johnson and Carolyn Sue (Cartwright) Johnson. She graduated from Terre Haute South High School, Class of 1981. She served eight years in the United States Air Force. Lisa had a green thumb and loved gardening. She was a CNA and Home Health Care provider. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Raymond and Thelma Johnson and Marian Cartwright; several aunts and uncles; and her beloved dog, Oliver. Survivors include her sisters, Tina Blake (David) and Teresa McVey (William); a nephew, Brian Blake (Hillary Stanley); nieces Betty Monroe (Shawn), and Laci Johnson; great nieces Tessa and Zoey Monroe; great nephew, Colton Monroe; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a good friend, Randy Sloniker. Visitation will be Friday, April 15, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. Funeral Services will be at 4:00 p.m. with the Vigo County Veterans Honor Guard providing military honors.
