Lora "Lola" Elizabeth Shouse of Terre Haute, IN, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, at Regional Hospital, of pneumonia.
She was born in Terre Haute, IN, on Aug. 5, 1959, the daughter of the late Matilda and Andrew Shouse.
Lora attended Terre Haute North Vigo High School and graduated from Tilden High School in Paducah, KY. She graduated from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio.
She worked at Sodexo at Indiana State University, and in customer service for AARP. She was a veteran.
Lora is survived by her kids, Caleb and Portia Irving; and sisters, Adriane, Marilyn and Ardenia (Brian), as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Jackie and Kevin.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Banquet Hall beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at First Financial Bank.
