Louis Frank Mazely, Jr. passed away at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. He was born October 14, 1943, in Clinton, Indiana to Louis & Lucille (Miller) Mazely.
Frank met the love of his life, Melissa "Dink" Montgomery-Tucker in May of 1984. They just celebrated 40 years together. Frank retired in 2010 after 45 years of service with INDOT. He loved being outdoors, gardening, cookouts, camping, and his passion was water sports and boating. Frank also enjoyed doing taxes and record keeping. Above all else being with his family brought him the most joy.
He is survived by his life partner, Melissa, daughters Stephanie Tucker-Brewer (Ryan) and Robyn White (Billy), son Troy Mazely (Sylvia), grandchildren Trinity (Christopher) and Gabriel Wyatt Brewer, Adam White, Austin White (Amber), Ethan White (Tayler), Ashton Kite (Aaron), Isabella Mazely (David), and Kyle Mazely; great grandchildren Anderson, Ally, and Jensen White; sisters Bonnie Wingate, Marianne Allen (Jeff), in-laws Bud, Charless, and Roger Montgomery, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, son Patrick "PJ" Mazely, sister Lynne Crockett (Clint), and in-laws Arbie, Barbara, and Shelly Montgomery.
Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. A service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at The King's Harvest Foursquare Church located at 1801 Harding Avenue, Terre Haute, IN 47802. We welcome family and friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Service will be at 5:00 p.m. Pastor Dennis Leek will officiate. A Celebration of Life meal will follow in the church's fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Diabetes or Alzheimer's Association. Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
