Lynne Godsey, 50, of Brazil passed away on September 2, 2024, at her mother's home.  She was born on October 5, 1973, in Linton, Indiana to Robert Rose, Sr. and Diana (Southworth) Dyer.

Lynne worked at Lighthouse Mission for many years.  She was very crafty and loved painting, woodworking, and embroidery.  Her family was very important to her, and she loved spending time with her grandbabies.  She enjoyed going to concerts, listening to music and going on motorcycle rides.  Her favorite smell was a woodburning stove and she loved eating saltwater taffy and strawberry cheesecake.  Lynne also loved Sprite slushies.  She collected butterflies and sugar skulls.

Lynne is survived by her three children, Brittany Morris (Markley), Daniel Michael (Caitlynne), and Austin Nolte (Fiancée Jenny), mother Diana Dyer, father Robert Rose, Sr., siblings Robert Rose, Jr., Travis Rose, Douglas Rose (Kimberly), grandchildren Iverson, Avory, Zaydenn, Jaxton, Lian, and Blakely, as well as nieces, Cherokee and Chelsea, and several extended family members.  She was preceded in death by her brother Trent Douglas Rose and uncle Leo Southworth, II.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to cover expenses. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
