Maria Elena (Newman) Bailey passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born to Anthony Newman and Frances (Willis) Newman on February 25, 1964 in Indianapolis. Maria loved nature, horses, her children, and her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her father, her four sisters, Regina Dyke, Barbara Mays, Vickie Vermillion, Terri Neighbors; her three children, Amanda Thompson (Kenny), Jesse Campbell (Dacia), Katie McMahon (Brandon); and her four grandsons, Andrew, Luke, Elijah, and Revan. Anyone who knew her, knew how much Maria loved her children. Above all else, Maria believed in a paradise Earth and was a strong believer as a Jehovah's Witness.

A memorial talk will be held via Zoom at 1:30pm with a Celebration of Life to follow after the Zoom service until 5pm at the Worthington Park Community Building on Sunday, October 18, 2020. Online condolences may be left at www.samaritanfunerals.com
