Marie Couch, 87, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday September 17, 2026 in Gibson Family Hospice Center. She was born October 31, 1938 in Terre Haute to Edward and Loretta (Foley) Padgett. Marie is survived by her daughters, Pam Patton, Donna Couch, and Nancy Lamb; sister, Linda Rowley; brother, Raymond Padgett; sister-in-law, Patricia Padgett; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert “Don” Couch; daughter, Lisa Allsop; son, Robert Frank Couch; sisters, Sarah Terrell and Wanda Weaver and brothers, Edward Padgett and Charlie Padgett. Marie enjoyed playing bingo and bunco and working crossword puzzles. She also liked watching westerns on TV and being around her family. Cremation has been entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.
