Marilyn Jean Homrig Bell, 77, of Terre Haute passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024.  She was born January 9, 1947, in Lafayette, Indiana to Paul Homrig and Hope Griffin Homrig.  Marilyn was a special needs teacher at Woodrow Wilson for over 30 years.  She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and going to see local bands.  Marilyn was a Colts fan and going to lunch with close friends and the Women of Woodrow Wilson was among her favorite things.  Most of all, Marilyn loved to be with family.

She is survived by her son Josh Bell (Jillian Weise), sister Margo Reiss, brother David Homrig (Beverly), nephew Jeff Reiss (Daniella), niece Joy Altepeter (John), several other nieces and nephews, and great niece Libby Altepeter and great nephew Griffin Altepeter, as well as many close friends.  Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Marilyn can be made to Happiness Bag or the charity of your choice.
