Marilyn Overton, 85, passed away January 15, 2024, in Terre Haute, IN. She was born April 22, 1938, in Terre Haute to Emery and Sarah Waggoner.  She is survived by her children; Arwonda Hedges and Rolland Overton (Ann); siblings; Ray Waggoner and Betty LaClerk; grandchildren; Nicole Dickey (Van), Richard Weaver (Kylie), Clayburn Weaver, Ashley Overton (Brad Fiscus), Rolland Overton Jr, Chianne (Midnite) McQuire, Rayanna Overton, and Michael Overton; great-grandchildren; Alexzander Wilson, Savannah Overton, Skyler Fiscus, Aurora McQuire, Annastasia McQuire, Nova McQuire, Haley Dickey, Vanessa Dickey, Maggie Dickey, Jozilyn Weaver, Zyona Elliott, Jessica Weaver, Revina Edwards, Mason Stone, Haylea Stone, Emmalee Weaver, Crosby Weaver, Torylynn Weaver, Alyson Weaver, Kaidyn Weaver, October Paul, Odine Overton, and Mazzilyn Overton; and great-great grandchild Samuel Rogers.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, child Raymond Overton; siblings: Emery Waggoner, Bill Waggoner, Jim Waggoner, Margrette Yaw, and Imogene Glaspie.

Cremation has be entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.
