Obituary

Marjorie G. Keegan Long, 81, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday February 18, 2018 in Cobblestone Crossing health Campus. She helped operate Kountry Kids Child Care. She had previously worked at Quaker Maid and Modern Album. Marjorie was born May 27, 1936 in Terre Haute to Emery Keegan and Ollie (Hazlett) Keegan and was 1 of 11 children. She is survived by daughters, Ranee Armstrong (Michael) and Deborah Pearce; a son, Randy White (Keri); grandchildren, Dustan Armstrong (AmyJo) and Daniel Armstrong (Amber); two great-grandchildren; sisters, Violet Steward, Charlotte Pound, and Joy Edwards and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Long who died October 11, 2009 and several brothers and sisters. Marjorie enjoyed quilting, crocheting, camping and fishing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing her guitar and singing with her family. Graveside services will be Thursday February 22, 2018 at 11:00 am in Watson Cemetery with Pastor John Sandiford officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Cobblestone Crossings for the love and care they have shown Marjorie during her stay there.
