Mark Julian Silverstein, 69, passed away February 23, 2021 at his home in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Mark was born February 6, 1952 to Julian L. and Martha Rose Silverstein. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Margaret Elizabeth "Bitsy" Silverstein.

Mark leaves behind his children: Aaron Julian Silverstein and wife Anna Fiers and family of Terre Haute, Jesse Salyer of Terre Haute, Michael Julian Silverstein and family of Florida, Jennifer Munden and family of Florida; eight grandchildren including Amaya Jayne and Brice Julian Silverstein of Terre Haute, as well as many friends and extended family.

Through his life, Mark was employed as a skilled civil engineer and also worked in log home construction. He enjoyed building and racing go karts with his son's Aaron and Jesse for the SIRA racing club.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time. If so desired, donations can be made to Healing Initiative of Indiana, Inc., a non-profit organization that Mark supported. The organization aims to raise awareness and eradicate domestic violence.
