Marlin Allen Williams, Sr. , 75 of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully in his home at 4:15 AM on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 surrounded by his children, a niece, a nephew, and a friend. Marlin loved his family, watching NASCAR races, antique cars, and fixing things. He loved music and loved going everywhere on his motorized wheelchair. Survivors include 3 daughters; Mary Kearns, Donna Fox (Walter Long) and Debbie Williams, and 1 son, Marlin Jr. Also surviving is a nephew, Billy Ray Petty, Sr., and a niece, Margie Lee Gilliland, as well as 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a great grandson, Devin Lee Fox, his twin sister, Margie E. Petty, and a brother, Donald L. Williams. Funeral services will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Bryce Ulrich officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM in Samaritan Funeral Home.
