With a heavy heart, I need to let all of Marty's family and friends know that my precious soulmate and the love of my life passed away on April 8, 2026. I became Rebecca Miner 31 years ago, and we cherished each other every day that God gave us.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Grace Miner; sister Barbara Pendleton; brother Bill Miner and son Mark Phillips.

Marty had five sons and one daughter: Marty Miner (Kathy), Mark Miner, Marcie Shrader (Bobby), David Roberts, Matthew Roberts, Phillip Roberts and special daughter-in-law Betsy.

Marty's sister Meredith Hiser (Jim) was with him during his last days, which he cherished.

Marty loved his family and was a special mentor to his many grandchildren. He was one of a kind and left many memories with the special people in his life. Nothing put a smile on his face more than seeing one of his loved ones walk in the door.

A special thank you to Southerncare Hospice and his special, much-loved CNAs Summer and Becky. They made life much more pleasant for Marty. Special thanks also to Tony Smith, who became a wonderful friend and caregiver to him.

Marty loved the farm and every animal he cared for. If you could not find the farm, you just needed to ask where the "Egg Man" lived.

According to Marty's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
