Mary Alice Harder, 78, of Sullivan passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at her residence.  She was born October 26, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to James Wilber Harder and Mary Ellen Moore Harder.  Mary was a very talented artist.  She worked as a commercial artist for two major newspapers in Texas as well as doing freelance work including portraits.  Mary was an avid reader and enjoyed Bible study.  She belonged to the Ridglea Baptist Church and was a devoted member.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by daughter Michelle McElhaney, granddaughter Brittany Hall and great grandchildren Skylar Hall and Cheyenne Hall; brother Windell Harder (Lori), nephew Kenneth Reynolds, as well as several cousins and extended family.
