Mary F. Haymaker, 67, of Terre Haute passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her beloved family.  She was born August 2, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to William Shuey and Mary Dean Shuey Hill.  Mary was known to have a green thumb.  The plants and flower beds in her yard were stunning.  She loved animals, especially cats.  Mary was a great cook.  When she made her famous burritos, the whole family would flock to the house.  Most of all she loved her family.  Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy.

She is survived by her husband, George Scott Haymaker, children James Myers, Robert Thompson (Lori), Joseph Thompson, Carrie Thompson, Fantasy Sharrett (James), and Dustin Thompson, several grandchildren, siblings Janice Defosse (Randy) and Allen Shuey (Kathy), as well as her beloved cats Rotton, Mystic, and Lepchaun.  Mary is preceded in death by her parents, step-father Clarence Lynn Hill, granddaughter Elizabeth Thompson, and brothers Johnny Shuey and William "Billy" Shuey, Jr.
