Mary Virginia Olson, 96 of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 10:40 PM at Regional Hospital. She was born in Terre Haute on October 17, 1919 to Gottlieb William Olson and Lucille Clifton Olson. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Leonard Rostek, and several nieces and nephews; Debbie Foulke (husband Randy), James Rostek (wife Colleen), Stephen Olson (wife Janet), and Mary Ann Chevela (husband Phillip). Preceding her in death were a brother, Richard Olson, and a sister, Helen Rostek. Gin was an excellent seamstress, and loved to make clothes for her nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 3:00 PM. Burial will be at Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Samaritan Funeral Home.
