Mary Kathryn Scheytt, 61, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025.  She was born on October 20, 1963 to John W. and Jessie (Black) Scheytt in Terre Haute.

Mary is survived by her sisters, Virginia Burns, Laura Fite (Barry), and Ruth Nasser (John); ten nieces and nephews; and her housemate.

Mary is preceded in death by both of her parents.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Prime Care Assisted Living for their dedication and care of Mary for the past several years.

Visitation for Mary will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Service is to begin at 1:00 pm lead by Pastor Rick Swan.  Burial at Grandview Cemetery will immediately follow the service.  Online condolences may be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com
