Mary Katherine Wilson, 73, of Terre Haute passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 4,2023.  She was born November 4, 1949, in Terre Haute to Earl and Beulah Anderson.  After retiring from Eli Lilly, she and her husband Philip owned and managed several rental properties.  Mary K. enjoyed renovating and maintaining the properties.  She could do it all and would try anything.  Mary K. also enjoyed sewing. They loved celebrating their anniversary in Orange Beach, Alabama.  This was their tradition for more than 15 years. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy and biggest accomplishment.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Philip Wilson, daughters Tonya L. Batton, Dr. Stephanie D. White (Charles), and Curtina M. Keetion (Douglas), stepdaughter Shauntée L. Wilson, grandchildren Brandon Batton, Dyamond McElroy, Faith White, Christine White, Amaris Keetion, and Jeremiah Keetion, sisters Jacqueline Waddy and Diane Wells, brothers in law Sylvester Wilson (Evelyn), Maurice Wilson, and Richard Wilson (Diane), as well as a host of nieces and nephews.  Mary K. is preceded in death by her parents and sister Tomisa Anderson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Service will begin at the church at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Roger Cheeks officiating.  Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com
