Matthew (Mallory) Timothy Steiner Kuhl, 31, of Bloomington passed away December 12, 2020 at IU Hospital.  He was born September 22, 1989 in Atlanta, Georgia to Robert Jay Kuhl and Lucille Jean Steiner.  Matthew was an avid bird watcher, cat lover, and voracious reader.  He was a graduate of Georgia College & State University with a degree in History; Attended graduate studies at Indiana University in Ural-Altaic and Central Asian Studies.  He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington, Indiana.

Matthew is survived by Robert Kuhl (father), Emily Kuhl and Hannah Kuhl (siblings), and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that are too many to list.  He is preceded in death by Lucille Steiner (mother) and Grandparents: Leo and Jeanette (Geiser) Steiner, Marvin and Helen (Jensen) Kuhl.
