Melinda (Mindy) Murray Kurtz, age 68, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family and friends, in Coal City, IN on March 27, 2023. Born on February 1, 1955, in Chattanooga, TN. She was the second child of Althea Leona Jones and John Thomas Murray. A devoted mother, she is survived by her two sons, Shawn Curtis Walker, and Gregory Leander Walker; sisters Benita Renee Murray Smith, Denise Lewis; stepsister Darlene Jones; best friend Sue Brooks Shane and her loving dog companion GraceC.
