Melvin Robert Bemis, 64, passed away on August 25, 2025. He was born on March 8, 1961 in Brazil to John and Ola Bemis. Melvin loved being outdoors, whether that was camping, mushroom hunting, or fishing with his son and grandson. He also enjoyed playing darts and dice.

He is survived by his children Grace Bemis and Logan Curnutt, brother Edward Bemis, sisters Janet Weiss and Ava Curtis, and grandson Braxton Lile.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother John Bemis Jr.
