Melvin R. Pierce, 73, passed away on February 21, 2025. He was born on February 20, 1952 in Clay Co., IN to Melvin F. Pierce and Janet R. (Reeves) Pierce. Melvin graduated from Van Buren High School (Brazil, IN) in 1970 and later served in the United States Army. He was a big NASCAR and racing fan as well.

He is survived by his mother and siblings, Daniel Pierce (Linda), John David Pierce (Sarah), Joyce Pierce, and Julie Pierce. He is preceded in death by his father.
