Michael W. "Butchie" Acuff, 56, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday March 22, 2022 in Union Hospital. He worked as a machine operator at Alcan. Butchie was born December 17, 1965 in Terre Haute to Marvin E. Acuff, Sr. and Rose M. (Gordon) Acuff. He is survived by his daughters, Nastassja Daniel, Arica Thomas, and Bree'Lynn Acuff; sons, Martell Acuff and Gabriel Acuff; sisters, Victoria Acuff, Shazell Dixon, Marva Rose Acuff, and LaConda Carson; brothers, Marvin E. Acuff, Jr., Robbie Wann, Phillipa Acuff, and Kent Acuff; grandchildren, Brandon Jr., Brooklyn, Bryce, Germany, Braley, Brayden, and Cali-Jace; uncles, Richard Gordon and Harry Lee Gordon and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Valarie Reynolds and Sylvia Acuff. Visitation will be Monday march 28, 2022 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 12:00 pm with Elder Anthony Dixon officiating.
