Michael (Mickey) Myers passed away on July 30, 2024 at Union Hospital, after several years of failing health due to complications from juvenile diabetes. Surviving him are his mother Joyce (Myers) Rice and stepfather John Rice; father Henry Myers and stepmother Barb Myers; maternal aunts Doris (Charles) Olah and Ellen (William) Sedletzeck; paternal uncle Keith (Lorrie) Myers; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister Melody Lynn Myers in 1987.

He was a graduate of Terre Haute North. Michael was loved by many people for his sense of humor and easy-going personality. He enjoyed fishing as a hobby. He especially loved music, mostly metal and rock, and had an extensive music collection. He was also an avid sports fan. He loved the Indianapolis Colts and the St. Louis Cardinals.

A private memorial will be held for family and friends.
