Naomi Gean "Bug" Price, 70, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday February 24, 2018 at 12:34 pm in Union Hospital. She was a cook at Indiana State University. She was born October 18, 1947 in Terre Haute to William Mattox and Ruth (Stedman) Mattox. Naomi is survived by a daughter, Holly K. Price (fiancé Jerry Krauth) of Terre Haute; Christopher Price (ex-wife Jacqline Price) of Terre Haute; significant other, Robert Ornduff; siblings, John Mattox, Connie Cotton, Carol Lawson, and Daniel Mattox; grandchildren, Kristina Price, Courtney Price, Frankie Matlock, and Angelea Matlock; great-grandchildren, Lucas Price, Hunter Burton, Addison Burton and many other children who considered her Grandma and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, William Mattox, Roger Mattox, Mary Noble, and David Mattox. Naomi loved caring for her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking their special dishes for them. As per Naomi's request, cremation has been chosen. Samaritan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
