Nelson A. McCampbell, 76, passed away July 19, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born on November 29, 1946 in Terre Haute to Parke Nelson McCampbell and Thelma Gertrude (Hawkins) McCampbell. Nelson has been married to Vicki McCampbell for 47 years. Nelson worked for Columbia House for 35 years as a warehouse worker, and he is an Airforce Veteran. Nelson enjoyed piddling in his basement and barn. He also enjoyed fishing, and he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, daughters, Jessica Nicole Melton (Dustin) and Shelly Lynn Fonner (Frank); grandchildren, Kelsey, Brittany, Alec, Trace, and Evan; sister Martha Kay McCampbell, and brother-in-law Bernie Lee McClure (Virginia).
