Norvetta June Knight, 91, passed away October 24, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 22, 1932 in Linton to Milard Clayton and Mrytle Mary Ann (Tincher) Clayton. Norvetta was married to Charles E. Knight. She would tell stories of her time growing up on a farm, and she loved gardening.

She is survived by daughters Pam Stanfill (Gaylon), Virginia Marsh, Marsha Perius, and Lori Knight; son Charles Knight Jr. (Mary Ellen), grandchildren Heather Burgess (Paul), James Stanfill (Tabatha), Stacey Marsh, Eric Marsh, Jonathan Knight, and Michael Knight (Catelyn); great-grandchild Kalen Chaplin; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, both parents, daughter Vicky Tooley, sister Virginia McCammon, and brother Willard Clayton,.
