Oscar Pitman, 92, of Roachdale passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022.  He was born December 6, 1929 in Eubank, Kentucky to George and Flora Pitman.  Oscar served his country in both the United State Army and the Airforce, retiring from service in 1971.  Shortly after he met and married the love of his life, Patricia, who preceded him in death just one month ago.  They were married 50 years.  Oscar and Patricia loved to travel.  He was a devout Christian.  Most of all Oscar was a family man.  The grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of his life.

Oscar is survived by his daughter Kathy Stein, son Ron Henry, grandchildren Shawn and Joey Pitman of South Carolina, Kristin Stein, Dominique Fruits, and Lindsey Cooper, as well as six great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Patricia, son Gary Pitman, and several siblings.
