Patricia "Patty" Richey was a beloved grandmother, mother, and wife during her incredible 86 years of life. She was born in West Terre Haute to Claude Beck and Anne Porter-Beck on May 13, 1936. She passed away peacefully in the early hours of February 12, 2023. Patty was best known for her fierce determination and her nurturing temperament. Although she loved playing BINGO, Patty loved her family most of all. She raised and nurtured her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Even in her final days, her family could still bring a smile to her face. It's safe to say that she is now dancing in the sky with Jesus, and finally reunited with her parents, her beloved daughter, Kim, and her best friend Dottie Whitaker.  Patty is survived by her husband of 71 years, Bob Richey; her sons Bobby (Debbie) Richey and Steve Richey; her sisters Sharon (Ray) Stuck and Lois Jubenville; her brother Larry Beck (Tammy); and granddaughters Tammy Richey, Tracy Adkins, Tanya Richey, Krystal (Paul) Jackson, and Samantha (Jordan) Pearson; grandson Robert Dickerson II; 14 great grandchildren, 2 of those being Kelsee (Billy) Lyon and Kaden Heyen, who she raised like her own; and 8 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Jerry Beck, Ronald Beck, and Tommy Beck; her daughter Kim Dickerson, her son in law Bobby Dickerson, her grandson Little Bobby, and her nephew Mike Stuck. The family will be having a celebration of life at The Providence Center in West Terre Haute Thursday evening from 4-6:30 with services following.
