Patricia (Patty) Miller-Stephens (Zettler), 74, of Terre Haute on Friday, August 14, 2026, at her residence with the care of Gentiva Hospice. Born on May 31, 1952 to Averil “Lee” Smith and Roy Zettler.

She was a 1970 graduate of Clinton High School; a 1973 graduate of St. Anthony’s Hospital where she received her nursing diploma.

She worked at St. Anthony’s Hospital and Regional Hospital in Labor and Delivery, Intensive Care Unit, Cath Lab, and Medical Surgery floors; Union Hospital in Surgery and Cardiac Surgery; and the Terre Haute Heart Center for 20 years before retiring.

In her spare time she enjoyed cake decorating, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Patty is survived by daughters, Michell Sarvich (Brian) and Brandy Miller (Jeff Jones); grandchildren, Stone, Brian, Jr., Eli, Averil, and Dylan; several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and David Miller.

In honoring Patty’s wishes, cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
