Paula Kay Koester, 71, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026. She was born to Paul Koester and Sadie Belle Henderson on May 6, 1955 in Kankakee, Illinois.

Paula had numerous hobbies, including sewing, reading, and being a sticker fanatic. She also loved to write letters and had many pen pals across the country. Paula also loved listening to old records and would blare them from her record player. She could always be found with a glass of iced tea – extra ice. Paula loved to talk to others and never met a stranger. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren.

Paula is preceded in death by both of her parents; siblings, Sadie Koester, David Koester, Georgia McKee, and Paul Koester, Jr.; and two grandchildren, Sadie Neff and Aiden Neff.

Paula is survived by her son, Paul Neff (Katie); daughters, Allison Wood, Sarah Stinson (Jim), and Laura Harkness (David); grandchildren, Mackenzie Turner, Dallas Hartman, Piper Hartman, EmmaGrace Lassalle, Mantle Stinson, AnnaBelle Stinson, Liam Neff, Finley Neff, Ellie Harkness, and a baby boy on the way; brother, Daniel Koester (Patty); childhood friends, Melody Jones, Karen Rosas, and Greg Madden; and many others who loved her.
