Phyllis Jane (Beam) Clark, 73, of Carbon, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. She was born to Steve Beam and Marylou Heaton on June 21, 1953 in Danville, Illinois. Phyllis was a hard worker and has worked her entire life. She worked as a beautician, a public notary, and a tax preparation representative. Phyllis was also the proud owner of Brazil Door.

Phyllis enjoyed going to the casino and dancing. Before the passing of her husband, she enjoyed going to the racetracks with him and traveling on different vacations. Phyllis enjoyed attending church at the Open Door in Brazil. She was also a foodie and loved a good steak dinner. Phyllis loved her family and raised Brooklynn, Destiny, Megan, and helped raise many others.

Phyllis is preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Charles Clark, Sr.; siblings, Steve Beam and Carol Warren; siblings-in-law, Tony Clark, Richard Clark, and Bill Clark.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Robert Clark, Todd Clark (Tina), Charles Clark, Jr. (Casey), and Antoinette Clark; sister, Marla Lomax; grandchildren, Lacey Clark, Ashlee Clark, Brooklynn Clark (JE Johnson), Hayley Clark, Megan Brush, Gabrielle Clark (Dylan), Mykala Clark, Maggie Clark, Destiny Clark, Charles Clark, Carter Clark; great-grandchildren, Mykayla Lombard, Mylee Lombard, Mason Randall, Lynnleigh Johnson, Jasper Gillin, Ruby Becker, Riley Becker, Willow Fulk, Violet Fulk, Charleigh - due in February; siblings-in-law, Ernie Clark, Kenny Clark, Becky Klass (Bill); and best friend, Donna Mullinix.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Landln Hull and a special thank you to Millie and Bill Allison.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
