Raymond L Smith, 85, passed away November 19, 2023 in his residence. He was born July 31, 1938, in Seelyville to Frank and Rosie (Hogue) Smith. He was a mechanic for UPS where he retired in 1994. Raymond is survived by his daughters, Cathy Leeann Garvey (James) and Virginia Rose Curtis (Don); sons, Raymond "Joe" Smith (Sherri) and Greg Alan Smith (Helen Jean); sisters, Jeanette Auterson and Mae "Lucy" Long; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren with one on the way, numerous nieces and nephews and his best friend, Larry Harmon. He is preceded in death by his first wife Beverly Ann Smith, second wife Judy Ann Johnson, 11 brothers and sisters, and one grandchild. Raymond was a member of the Moose Lodge, Sons of American Legion, and Teamster Local 710. Visitation will be Saturday November 25, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 1:00 pm in the funeral home.
